    Say Some Thinger About The Latest iPhone 3G / 3GS Accessories
    Apple announced they had sold over 1 million of the new iPhone 3GS through 21 June 2009, and Apple Sells Over 1 Million iPhone 3GS Phones. So we need a lot of iPhone 3GS cases. And it seems a shame to clog up the pages of magazine after magazine with them, when we can devote those pages to hard-hitting features, helpful how-tos, and reviews of things that are actually used with your Mac.

    Still, cases are very important. Your iPhone 3G is pretty and wonderful and deserves to be protected. That's true. I drop my iphone all the time! I'm not bragging it's just a habit. I've spent alot of money on protective iphone gear and until I came across these cool iPhone 3G Cases I found myself replacing my iphone every few months. I am completely stoked to say I still have my same habits but have not had to replace my iphone in over a year. It is still brand new looking and the awesome thing is, they comes in awesome colors so I can change whenever. I actually think I have all the colors and styles!!!! Everyone should tell everyone about these things, I cannot say enough great things about them. The guys that came up with these are awesome! Thanks Uxsight guys you rock! Still, at least the price is about right, at around $3-$6 or so.

    And IMO, CAll cases should include a screen protector, which is described as being polycarbonate, and a simple cleaning cloth. To be honest, as mentioned above, the iPhone's screen is so tough that there's simply no need to use a screen protector, especially as it picks up smears and scratches easier than the actual iPhone 3G screen protector.

    Be sure to look for iPhone screen protection that is made for your iPhone. They should be perfectly cut, making it easy to apply and offer immediate protection. Some vendors offer templates and require you to cut the plastic covering. This is less than optimal. When the iPhone is turned on, a good screen protector is hardly noticed. Some screen protectors will also offer enhanced usability due to the finish. In general, iPhone screen protectors are a good investment and easily removable should it start to get dirty. In the end, it's a small investment to protect a much larger investment, your iPhone.

    And as I'm always be a traveler, so a applied iPhone charger is basic for me. And The connection to the wall-outlet should be compatible with the standard of US/Canada/South America/Japan/Korea. So, for me I'll select the iPhone Wall Charger for miniSync serves as a convenient travel charger to take along. Its compact size and light weight minimizes on travel bulk!
    You can take it anywhere to create the power source that you need!

    The Best iPhone case!
    How many iPhone 3G cases do you have?

    I love the Apple iPhone and the charming accessories . It has all the features I needed in my phone. The screen quality which makes it simple and intuitive

    is the best thing I love about this phone.



    Hundreds of iPhone cases have been released in a variety of styles and colors

    since the iPhone was released. Those who invest in this new exciting technology will no doubt look for a good way to protect their investment. And I’ve used

    several iPhone 3g Cases in the past 6 months, Anyways the following are my comments:



    1. I have a silicon, black, FOURTY DOLLAR, inCase (picture below); and I absolutely hate it.



    It stretched out almost imediately, and this happened after I had learned about its tendancy to stretch from simple "wear and tear".



    2. ISkin Revo2:


    iSkin Revo2 is a significantly nicer product that iSkin's first attempt at the iPhone cover. The silicone skin is thicker around the screen where the old

    version tended to tear and the button-access holes are well thought out. No problems reaching the ring/vibrate switch like on the old cover.



    Also notable: The dock port cover is now ATTACHED to the skin, good call on that one iSkin. The buttons are more easily marked when operating from your

    pocket or backpack with small raised rubber-dots. All around a much nicer product than the REVO for the original iPhone.

    3. Before all of them I had the Marware Sport grip (pictured), but that seemed to be loosened just by putting it on, and returned that the same day.

    4. Agent18 EcoShield Case


    I bought one of these Agent 18 iPhone 3G cases from the Apple Store when I got my new phone, and I'm pleasantly surprised by it. It seems solidly

    constructed, and does a good job of protecting the case of the iPhone from scratches without blocking access to any of the ports and controls. It also has a

    nice grip on the side that makes the phone easy to hold.



    I've also been told that this product is eco-friendly and made of recycled plastic bottles, although that's probably more of an excuse just to drive up the

    price. As you can tell from the price tag above, these things aren't cheap and seem overpriced for something as simple as a plastic case.



    One thing to note... the Agent 18 does not have a screen protector on it. It looks like you could probably get away with putting a separate thin film screen

    protector on top of iPhone and then putting the clam shell case on top of that you wanted to, but I haven't personally tried it.

    The one good thing I bought from the Apple store was the Crystal Clear (guess what) screen guard they had for sale; it was $15 and by some osmosis I layed it

    on perfectly on the first try, no bubbles what so ever.



    6. I am currently using this:



    I like it because the iphone fits snugly inside with no movement at all, and it seems like i wont fall out even if the flap is open which is important

    because the velco of the flap isnt the best, you have to press down to make it stay in place.

    I am now looking for hard plastic cases, colours do not matter to me any more. The iSee Showcase looks ok.. but I am really looking for something that will

    remain snug around my iPhone. If you have a suggestion for a *snug* fitting, hard plastic case. I just got my two new

    color for style cases. I would definately recomend them …. good prices … got it fast and they did not rip you off with shipping .. heck I only paid $5.0

    Has anybody tried this unique Apple iPhone Camera 6X Zoom Telescope?

    Now that manufacturers are creating add-on lenses for cellphone cameras similar to the one we saw at CES. They need to step up their funny to attract your attention. This iPhone telescopic lens does just that, adding a nifty protective iPhone case to go along with the lens. The good news is that it does seem to zoom in a crapload (see photo after jump) and long distances with the power of a digital camera and video it is like taking a portable video camera/still camera in your iPhone. but unless that lens unscrews from the body, there's no way you can call the iPhone "pocketable". It says it's an absolute must for people who want to snoop without being noticed. But if the iPhone's camera was better I'd consider something like this. For the lame 2MP camera witch crap low-light performance, I don't think it's worth it. That and it's dorky.But it's really a Interesting and cool gadget. Makes me paradoxical, Have anyone tried this? What do you think of it?

    I just got my two iPhone cases from www.easyipodshop.com I really love what they’ve done with color for the flip style case (bought mine in slate blue) and with the classic black for my holster. The interiors are superb, all velvet and very soft to the touch, and the finishings are one of the best I’ve seen. Comparable to Sena and Vaja but about half the price (40 bucks plus shipping)




    I couldn’t stop congratulating myself for choosing this iPhone leather case over many others that I considered when looking for a case for my new iPhone. The material truly is first class leather and the craftsmanship is top-notch. The item is relatively inexpensive and shipping from CoverCase was amazing. I really cannot remember the last time I had such a marvelous online shopping experience!


    I see posts like this and I have to say .. dont get it … why spend $2.99 plus dollars then more to protect a screen when you can get a case like the Otterbox Defender iPhone case for $49 and then you have something that actually protects your iPhone. I had the others they offer bump protection .. the defender case that I bought from easyipodshop.com is great .. I now dont worry and the case comes with a belt clip and built in screen and camera protector…. I know you can find prettier cases but you have to ask fashion or a broken iPhone …


    After reading all the posts I went to easyiPodshop.com got my case there …. .. the otterbox defender case I did not need to purchase a iPhone screen protector or anything else .. just the case and my iphone is not easier to hold and it a case that looks like it will protect my phone … Thank you for the tip about that site and I would definately recomend them …. good prices … got it fast and they did not rip you off with shipping .. heck I only paid $5.0 for shipping!

    Do you know such tips and tricks about iPod Touch?

    First of all let me state that these are the best of the tips I have learned from other forums (ipodtouchfans.com and apple-touch.com) or from the iPod Touch features guide on apple’s website so I don’t believe they are propriety information. I think they are some valuable tips that either Noobs or experienced users can use. I would be happy to edit my post from time to time with tips that you all suggest.


    1. If you double click the home button in any application, or with the screen off will bring up the music controls. This will not work if completely powered off.


    2. When inputting a great deal of text in Safari turn it to horizontal view. The keyboard will be bigger and you can get a better grip of the Touch while typing with two thumbs.


    3. If you have made a spelling mistake, press and hold the word you spelled wrong and a magnifying glass will appear. Slide your finger back and forth to move the cursor bubble. This also works when manually keying in addresses in safari.


    4. When scrolling through a long page in Safari - tap the bar at the top of your screen containing the address bar, time, and battery, Safari will automatically return to the top of the page and the show address bar.


    5. Power saving tip:Turn off WiFi in the settings menu to save iPod battery power when not in use.


    6. Holding down letters on the keyboard will pop up the accents/symbols associated with those letters. Once it pops up, slide your finger over to the accent/symbol you like.


    7. In Safari double tap to zoom in. You can also "pinch" (putting your thumb and index finger on the screen and pinching in and out) to zoom in Safari and in Pictures.


    8. You can charge your iPod Touch from any powered USB port. Such as a computer, printer, media center. The device does not have to have iTunes installed to provide power to your iPod Touch. Also per apple’s website the old iPod Chargers that use a fire wire input will charge your iPod but I am not sure if they will sync it.


    9. When watching a movies/video, tap to bring up the onscreen controls. When you are done watching a video make sure you press done so your progress will be saved. Also Blue dots on the movie list screen mean at movies has not been played.


    10. When typing if you want to add something from the numbers keyboard just hold down the numbers and slide your finger to the number or symbol you want, and release. It will take you back to your letters keyboard. This way you won’t have to tap numbers, tap your number, then tap numbers again to go back. This also applies for using the 'shift' key to apply capital letters.


    11. In Safari, if you are presented with a link hold your finger over that link, and a bubble will appear showing the URL that the link is tied to.


    12. A good web based instant messanger is www.meebo.com www.meebo.com for AIM, yahoo, MSN, and google talk users.


    13. To organize Videos or Movies:


    Open iTunes, on movie file right click, "Get Info".
    Go to video tab, change video kind to "TV Show" and add show name (category to organize by).
    Files with same show name will be grouped into one folder


    14. If you want to makes your ipod touch be much more attractive . An unique ipod touch case will gives your iPod Touch a great look and style. And it is supposed to give your ipod Touch protection from scratches and minor drops. Dust resistant and keep dust from absorbing on the iPod Touch screen protector case for much static charge.

It's never fun to watch your cell phone die while you're in the middle of an important call. And it's no fun either to have little power when you're nowhere near a cell phone battery charger . While manufacturers make lots of promises about a phone's battery life, the rated times don't always hold true to real-world use. That's why we focus on the talk-time battery life.


    Cell phone batteries(also iPod batteries) are usually made of Lithium Ion (LiOn) which is a lightweight and rechargeable cell phone batteries that have no effects on the memory of the cell phone. When you first use the cell phone, it is necessary that the first charge is for eight continuous hours. It is important that you charge the battery for so long on its first charge else the battery expires before its intended life span.


    Different models of cell phones use different batteries with different capacities. Some phones offer vibrator alarm features where it is the battery that vibrates. Then there are cell phones that offer long talk time which need a stronger cell phone battery. This is why it is not advisable to swap batteries between cell phones. All that happens is damage to the unit.


    Whichever cell phone and cell phone battery you have, it is important that you don't expose both the cell phone and its battery to extreme moisture and heat. Though it is important that you periodically charge the battery, it is important that you don't overcharge it as the resultant heat can explode the unit.     Let me tell you some tricks and tips to care your batteries!

    For many users, recharging their cell phone batteries consists of the daily routine of plugging in the charger, and then leaving it on for a couple of hours to juice up. However, depending on your battery type, overcharging or undercharging it could result in a shorter life.


    You should also understand that due to the chemical processes involved, batteries deteriorate over time. After a certain number of cycles, the battery's maximum charge capacity drops to below 80 percent of its original capacity.

Lithium-ion (Li-ion) 500-1,000

    Therefore, heavy users who recharge frequently may have to purchase new iPod batteries after a short time compared to light users. However, not every battery will reach this number of cycles before starting to lose charge. For a battery to reach its natural life, proper maintenance is necessary. Batteries may look tough, but they can be inadvertently damaged.


    There are several things you can do to maximize the useful life of your battery.


    Breaking in


    When you first get your battery or phone, you will need to break it in. It may be necessary to fully charge and discharge the battery three to four times before it will be able to make use of its maximum capacity. This is for all battery types.


    The first time you charge the battery, the phone may indicate a false full charge after 10 to 15 minutes. This is normal. Unplug and plug the battery charger to "restart" the charging process.


    If you wish to keep your batteries aside for a period, store them in a dry and cool place. Heat and nearby metallic objects can spoil the battery. As the batteries will self-discharge after prolonged storage, you will have to break the batteries in again before use. Having said that, don't leave your rechargeable batteries dormant for extended periods. Cycle them for a full charge and discharge every so often to keep it fresh. Batteries that sit idle for extended periods of time without charging begin tend to lose their ability to hold a charge and will self-discharge.


    That thing called "memory effect"
    If you do not fully discharge the battery before recharging it, gradually the capacity of the battery will be reduced. This is called the memory effect, and is due to the accumulation of gas bubbles on the cell plates.


    NiCad batteries are especially prone to this problem. Therefore users should try to discharge the battery fully after each use, a process called conditioning. NiMH batteries are less susceptible to the memory effect, but even then you should condition them once every one or two weeks. Li-ion and Li-Po batteries are immune from the memory effect.


    For optimal talk and standby time in the long run, it is recommended that you use original batteries with your mobile phones.


    Most phones beep or display a "Battery Low" message to remind you that the battery will soon need to be charged or replaced with a charged one. If you are desperate to have the phone last just that extra minute longer, you can consider immediately switching to zero ring volume, zero backlight, non-vibration mode, etc. Switching off the phone for a short while can also prolong the remaining standby time when you next switch the phone on.

    There are several steps you can take to insure that you get maximum performance from your cell phone battery and iPod batteries:


    Breaking In New Batteries - new cell phone batteries come in a discharged condition and must be fully charged before use. It is recommended that you fully charge and discharge your new battery two to four times to allow it to reach its maximum rated capacity.


    Preventing the Memory Effect - Keep your battery healthy by fully charging and then fully discharging it at least once every two to three weeks. Exceptions to the rule are Li-ion batteries which do not suffer from the memory effect.


    Keep Your Batteries Clean - It's a good idea to clean dirty battery contacts with a cotton swab and alcohol. This helps maintain a good connection between the battery and your portable device.


    Exercise Your iPod Battery - Do not leave your battery dormant for long periods of time. We recommend using the battery at least once every two to three weeks. If a battery has not been used for a long period of time, perform the new battery break in procedure described above.


    Cell Phone Battery Storage - If you don't plan on using the battery for a month or more, we recommend storing it in a clean, dry, cool place away from heat and metal objects. NiCad, NiMH and Li-ion batteries will self-discharge during storage; remember to break them in before use. Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries must be kept at full charge during storage. This is usually achieved by using special trickle cell phone chargers. If you do not have a trickle charger, do not attempt to store SLA batteries for more than three months.

    I love the Apple iPhone and the iphone charming accessories . It has all the features I needed in my phone. The screen quality which makes it simple and intuitive is the best thing I love about this phone. Anyways the following are my comments.

    The GOOD: The design, feel & display are incredibly crazy.. Without doubt revolutionary. User interface is very easy. Have been used to Nokia for years, but adjusted within one day. Touch screen feels great and convenient & enough tools even for an above average mobile user.
    one big screen with big, clear icons which means that you don't need to be an expert to use it.But This phone is not covered in buttons and menus whick made me fell creamy & worry of scratchs.Fortunately I've found my yearning iPhone silicone cases which bring a great look and style to my iphone.And it is supposed to give it protection from scratches and minor drops.Dust resistant and keep dust from absorbing on the iphone protector case for much static charge.Aha,Perfect collocation,Does it?IMO, it is a great accessorie for ipod/iPhone owner to have.And I even yearned another thinger ---a outer joint keyboard for iphone for a long time!But it seems there isnt anyone yet!?

    Everything is easy to use.The data package(include ipod data cable ,optical disk,...), is fantastic. This is the feature I use most and nothing else on the market comes close, especially the access to the Cloud broadband network included in the package. I have watched programmes on the BBC iPlayer while waiting for meetings.Google Maps is excellent - especially when walking around a strange city. Very impressed with that.

    The NOT SO GOOD.:Screen prone to fingerprints & smudges. Slightly heavy & takes three hours to charge. Iphone Earphones are useless. But then that can be changed,I usually sue my ipod speakers to replace that. Can't change battery & third party applications are useless.,so you have to use the ipod charger every two days(for me).So no special ringtones. Just have to be pleased with the ones that are there. Which are terrible! A 2MP camera in these times. Wake up apple.

    The BAD: Ipod Battery Life is pathetic, drops calls & low signal (oops I thought that a mobile must do these basics at least) Needs a charge every day. Even after tricks to save battery Life.People do say that the battery life is not enough but for the 3.5" LCD this much battery life should be more then enough.That's a "pathetic" problem!
    Only on rubbish O2 network. Slow Internet. O2 need to improve their edge network! Worse than Samsung! Music quality is also poor. Overpriced.
    the PRICE, I mean come on, have you SEEN the price? It's so expensive!

    CONCLUSION: Overall a revolution in mobile handsets. Very good for those who are fashion conscious, like to carry music, wifi, Ipod videos & make a few calls, few sms's a day. Also are not too demanding & less finicky (hope this is the right spelling) Bye :-).So,think about what you want from a phone before committing yourself.

    Hands on my My ipod touch!
    well, i just got my ipod touch for christmas. It is very good. However i belive that apple could have made it even better. For example the ephemeral battery.However the functions that are with are excellent and i would recommend getting it. But i wouldnt spend all your money i would say get the 8GB.

    And today I've found my cool ipod touch cases online occasionally!This fashion and handy design makes my ipod touch be much more attractive for .     Sincerely I think they're just overpriced a little! So do my friends.But Don't listen to anyone. If u've got the money go for the touch as well as the phone too. Its ur life man!!! If u dont then nobody can help u.

    And only one thinger want 2 complaint:The company claims that the Touch can play music for up to 22 hours and video for up to five hours on a single iPod battery charger , even with Wi-Fi turned on. But in my tests, using factory settings, music playback lasted just under 17 hours and video playback lasted just over four hours. Nearly every other iPod I've tested, including the new Nano, handily beat Apple battery claims.

    Despite these downsides, the Touch is a great media player, and the iPod remains the best end-to-end portable solution for playing and purchasing ipod music clasic and ipod video .Well, the main reason i'd get the iPod touch over the classic is for the internet, I have a decent phone already (well, its a razr. so shoot me.) that...well...yeah, internet is the only reason, and that out of the 20gigs of music on my computer, I only listen to about 5gigs regularly, so it would work perfectly.

    Ah well, hopefully they'll fix the screen tilt video straight on thing...

    How to find the losed music for your ipod ?
    It happens to everyone. There computer breaks down with all there music on it!!! :eek: Well i thought I would send out this tutorial to explain to people on how to get there music off there iPod back into there computer.

    1. Once your computer is up and running DO NOT put iTunes back on yet. You will eventually but it will erase your iPod.

    2. Go into My Documents > My Music and make a folder ( call it whatever you want) this will hold your music.

    3. While your in this folder click on Tools > Folder Options > View Tab > and under Hidden Files and Folders click on Show hidden files and folders.

    4. Now connect your iPod (Via bluetooth or USB data cables or other ipod adapters)your computer.


    5. When it connects go into your iPod through My Computer and double click on iPod Control

    6. In this folder there is a Music folder. Right click and copy this folder to your new folder you created in My Music.

    7. Lastly unplug your iPod, install itunes and go file, add folder to library. (when you add the folder, make sure it is the first folder you created not the music folder. If you don't it will not work

    I hope this helps those ipod people that hate losing their music.
